What Documents Can Have the e-apostille?

The e-apostille can significantly expedite the legalisation of documents for international use. The digitalisation of document legalisation removes the need for many documents to be posted to and from The Apostille Service.

Solicitor certification

The important point to consider with an e-apostille is, ALL documents that are currently processed with the e-apostille must be checked and signed by a solicitor with an Advanced Electronic Signature (ADS), or a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES). Solicitors can only add the ADS or QES to certain documents. The solicitor must check the validity of the document before they add their signature.
